ATOPALM is a small line pretending to be a big one. Four situations cover almost everyone who ends up here, and each needs three or four products at most.
Every version of this routine has the same three moves: wash without stripping, seal while the skin is still damp, and protect before daylight. What changes between a newborn and a pregnant adult is the texture and the size of the bottle, not the order.
| Situation | Morning | Evening |
|---|---|---|
| Newborn, no particular trouble | Wipe with water, then MLE Lotion | Short bath with Top to Toe Wash, MLE Lotion on damp skin |
| Eczema-prone toddler | MLE Lotion all over, Eczema Cream on rough patches | Wash, Eczema Cream on the patches, Lotion everywhere else |
| Reactive adult face | Facial Foam Wash, Face Moisturizer Cream, sun pact | Facial Foam Wash, Soothing Gel Lotion or cream |
| Pregnancy | Leg cream after showering | Stretch Mark Cream on the belly, oil on shoulders and back |
A newborn does not need much and reacts to nearly everything, so the priority is short exposure and no fragrance. Two or three baths a week with Top to Toe Baby Wash and Shampoo is plenty in the first months; on the other days plain warm water is fine. What matters far more is what goes on afterwards. Pat dry, do not rub, and put MLE Lotion on while the skin still feels slightly damp. That window is short, maybe three minutes, and it is the difference between lotion that holds moisture and lotion that sits on dry skin.
Once patches appear on cheeks, elbows or the backs of the knees, the routine splits into two products. MLE Lotion in the 300 ml bottle handles the whole body, because at that age you are covering a surprising amount of skin twice a day and a small bottle disappears in a fortnight. MLE Eczema Cream goes on the specific patches, in a thin layer, twice rather than one thick coat.
Keep a small 65 ml tube in the bag. Flare-ups happen at daycare, in the car and on holiday, and a routine only works if the product is where the skin is.
Plenty of adults arrive at ATOPALM through a child. The formulas are not diluted for babies; they are simply built without the things that provoke a reaction, which is exactly what a face that flushes wants. Facial Foam Wash in the morning and evening, Face Moisturizer Cream as the leave-on step, and Soothing Gel Lotion for days when even a cream feels heavy.
The Maternity Care trio is unscented, which matters more in the first trimester than any ingredient list. Stretch Mark Cream is dense and deliberately slow to absorb, so the nightly massage lasts long enough to be worth doing. Relaxing Leg Cream is lighter, for legs that ache by evening, and Massage Oil covers shoulders, hips and lower back.
Nothing gets abandoned faster than sunscreen that needs rubbing in on a child who is already running. Both ATOPALM formats exist to remove that argument: the Outdoor Sun Stick glides over arms and legs in a few seconds, and the Tok Tok Facial Sun Pact presses onto a face without a mess. Reapply after swimming, after towelling off, and roughly every two hours outdoors.
These are cosmetics, not treatments. They keep skin comfortable and hydrated; they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional when skin is broken, painful or simply not settling.
